I deleted my first comment because of a couple of typos I made and I hate typos! But what I had said was:

ED638 has shown me that communication is so much better. The interaction between individuals can be done instantly or even overtime. We can send and rceive and even display videos and sound. We can share or edit each others text. Dr. Rivera has shown me how to create a professional, quality text, with graphies and photos. I have even began to publish my own magazine, or is it a book that I am putting together. I even have taken some of my work and made a slideshow and I am still working on my presentation. Just think, we can use all of this technology and it will help us to reach life time goals. We can take all the different tools and teach ourselves to enhance our own creative or organizational talents. I have gotten from this class and its technology the strategies the ways to help us to become more effective in many ways. We first learned what was available and how to familiarize ourselves with it. Our classroom computers, although they have a wide selection of tools to use, I have to stay with my own computer because I need to use specialized application and I am still working with it. Sorry that I can not use what my other classmates are using but I will not giveup. I am trying to stay focus on effectiveness.
Using blog to improve ones writing in college can be a great thing for the students and help to build their confidence and motivation as a writer. Blog allows us as students to comment on each other's work and give back feedback that could help improve our writing qualities. We able to post our version of a paper, the professor has access to the blog and can add comments without disrupting the students work. The professor or other classmates can access the classblog from any computer anywhere with an internet connection. Students are able to benefit from timely, constructive feedback. The comments also allow the students to give peer feedback. This peer feedback prompts us as students to read each others writing critically, and think about how we would phrase our feedback to constructive. Dr. Rivera chose to build our class site so each of us could use it for free. We are all using it now and our student blog can be posted using a a secure password. It took about three minutes to create for each of us. When Dr. Rivera, introduced us to the site she explained how the technology would enable us to become published authors.(smile) What if my site is not good enough? One student asked. Dr. Rivera explained how the technology and the support of our peers would help. Dr. Rivera showed us how to post our work, get feedback, revise and then post again while saving our old drafts. Dr. Rivera reserved the computer lab once a week and each week during the semester so that we would have enough opportunities to work online. Dr. Rivera structured the schedule into thirds, one class we would focuse on our own writing, the next session we would read one another's work and provide feedback. The third session we would read the feedback and revise our own work. This structure cycle of writing, reading, reviewing and revising has effectively embedded into our experiences in the class. It is a great class and I am still learning.
