I have been thinking about a lesson plan. My initial thought is to have students plan a three week road trip in the United States with the goal of visiting three National Parks. They will have to develop a budget for the trip and use the Google Earth features to locate the National Parks and to find hotels and restaurants in the area, as well as other points of interest. They will also have to calculate the driving mileage and estimate to total cost of the trip for their family.... just an idea for now.
Hope you have a Happy Halloween.....

I like your plan of having a road trip in the United States. Since you are a math teacher it is fitting that they must calculate their mileage and expenses. I can see a great math lesson plan in your future. Happy Halloween!
I agree with Paul that your road trip in the United States visiting three national parks will be an excellent lesson for you to teach your math students. Can't hardly wait to see what you are going to do. Have fun!
Another great lesson plan Greg...as always I look forward to seeing the final result!
